Flip flop shoe in black and soft pink, Plakkie™ is Seriously South African! Betty’s Bay is a small coastal South African town about 100 km from Cape Town. It was named after Betty Youlden, daughter of the first developer of the area Arthur Youlden. The town was a whaling station from 1912 well into the 1930s. We’re happy to say today Betty’s Bay is devoted instead to conservation - it is home to a sanctuary for African Penguins!
